Bring a dish to share and a donation for St. Vincent de Paul for the Solemnity of St. Joseph!

Emmanuel will host a traditional St. Joseph’s Day table after the 10:30 am Mass on Sunday, March 15. Blessed bread will be available for each family to take home.

According to tradition, during a famine brought on by a severe drought, starving Italian villagers prayed to St. Joseph. The St. Joseph’s table was first celebrated in thanksgiving for their answered prayers and is now a shared celebration with the entire Catholic community. Traditionally, Italian food is shared during this time of fellowship.
