Spirit Day is for confirmation candidates and their sponsors. Spirit Day will take place on the Precious Blood Campus.

Confirmation Spirit Day Retreat

Date: Saturday, October 18
Time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Location: Precious Blood Church

Join us for our upcoming Spirit Day Retreat, a meaningful part of the Confirmation preparation journey! Spirit Days are designed to help our confirmandi grow in understanding of the Sacrament of Confirmation and deepen their love for the Church — all alongside their sponsor or journey partner.

Attendance

Spirit Days are a key part of preparation and should not be missed. Parents are encouraged to make every effort to have their child attend, even if only for part of the day. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

Sponsors & Journey Partners

Sponsors are encouraged to attend with their confirmandi. If a sponsor is unable to join (due to distance or prior commitments), another adult or parent may participate as a journey partner for the day.

Note: Parents cannot be sponsors for their own child, but they may serve as journey partners for Spirit Days.

Dress & Lunch

Dress is casual. Lunch will be provided — sub sandwiches, chips, cookies, and sides.

Schedule

10:00 AM – Opening Prayer, Introductions, Icebreaker

10:30 AM – Prayer Station Rotations (Lectio Divina, Visio Divina, Prayer Walk)

12:00 PM – Lunch

12:45 PM – Gifts & Fruits of the Spirit, Vision Boards

1:50 PM – Closing Prayer

A brief Parent Meeting will take place at 1:30 PM in the church to review Confirmation details. Please arrive at that time if you are attending the meeting.

Retreat Atmosphere

We ask that students leave cell phones at home or keep them turned off during the retreat to minimize distractions and foster a true retreat experience. Let’s create a space where our confirmandi can encounter the Holy Spirit in a powerful way!

Additional Notes

Sponsor forms do not need to be turned in before the retreat but should be submitted as soon as possible.

There will be no 7th/8th grade classes on Sunday, October 19.

Service Opportunity: Volunteers are needed for the Holiday Bazaar on November 1.
