Purpose:

• Speak out on community concerns
• Develop strategies and programs
• Legislative advocacy
• Perceive parish and community needs
• Update GATHER* members at monthly meetings
• Advise the Unified Parish Council representative, if needed

 Meetings:

First Sunday of each month at 9:45 am; Holy Trinity Church Office.

 Membership:

Includes a parish staff member, parishioners from any of our St. Gasper Family of Parishes who desire to get involved in social action issues.  New members are most welcome.

This group plans programming that deals with social issues and keeps the parish informed of the work of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) and the Archdiocese of Cincinnati Catholic Social Action Office as well as Right to Life and Weavers of Justice issues and events.

Projects include but not limited to:

• All Right to Life events
• Weavers of Justice events
• Quarterly preparation of bagged lunches for St. Vincent de Paul shelters
• Collection of used eyeglasses for the Lions Club
• Yearly Pot Luck Social with Speaker
• Impromptu after Mass gatherings
