DESCRIPTION:When a U.S. flag is in such condition that it is no longer a fitting emblem for display\, it should be destroyed dignifiedly\, preferably by burning. We gather these Flags of our Country and of our States\, which have been determined to be no longer serviceable. The Knights of Columbus Marian Council will conduct a flag-burning ceremony on Flag Day\, June 14. Unserviceable flags can be dropped off in the marked bins at any of our regional parishes before June 14. \n
