SUMMARY:First Class-Children's Faith Formation

Three opportunities for OCIA will be available this year in the St. Gaspar family of parishes starting in September: \n\nHoly Trinity: Wednesdays at 11:45 am\, starting September 3\nSt. Paul: Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm\, starting September 3\nHoly Trinity: Sundays at 12:00 noon\, starting September 7\n\nEach group will be using the “Foundations of Faith: A Journey through the Catechism of the Catholic Church” series from Ascension. Cost for the workbook and internet access to the videos is $40. Scholarships will be offered on an as-needed basis. \nJoin the Journey\, Become a Sponsor\nPersons from the parish are encouraged to become part of the lives of our initiates by becoming involved in OCIA. Why be a sponsor? Christ calls us to “go and make disciples of all nation.” Being an OCIA sponsor for someone on their journey to be fully initiated into the Church is a wonderful opportunity to answer Christ’s call. Additionally\, walking with someone learning about the Catholic faith is a great way to grow in your own faith. DESCRIPTION:Come on by\, even if you haven’t joined us yet. We continue to have a great time each month–so come join us as a team\, a couple\, or an individual. Whether you know a lot of trivia or not\, everyone will be able to contribute as Dean Roll\, the Trivia Shark\, will present a wide range of general trivia questions. Everyone from the St. Gasper community is invited! Donation is $5.00 per person—used to help provide prizes after each trivia round and for the overall winning team. You are welcome to bring snacks and drinks if you desire\, and we’ll provide some too. \nTrivia Night is a monthly event in the Precious Blood Gym. We usually get together on the third Saturday of the month with the exception of September 27\, 2025.
