DESCRIPTION:Celebrating 30+ Years of Gardening for the Hungry! \n@St. Paul\, Monday\, July 1 from 7:00 to 8:00 pm \nEnjoy some great ice cream\, meet some new friends\, tour our beautiful garden\, and find out what we’re about! \n  \nGod’s Garden is a community garden growing food for the hungry at St. Paul’s Parish on Wenger Road in Englewood. Come grow hope and nourishment from the ground up! Families and new gardeners are especially encouraged to participate. During the summer\, volunteers gather at the garden on Monday and Thursday evenings to continue to plant\, hoe\, mulch\, and harvest.  All produce gathered is given to local food pantries. Everyone is welcomed and encouraged to participate\, regardless of experience level or age. \nFor more information\, contact Sue Sack at 937-836-4223. \n

DESCRIPTION:Preparation for the Total Consecration to Mary \n@Precious Blood\, Monday\, March 3 – Monday\, April 7\, 7:00 pm \nJoin us for five Mondays this Lent as we journey with Mary\, our spiritual Mother\, to the foot of the cross. Each evening will begin with the Rosary\, followed by a presentation from Curtis Kneblik on the Blessed Mother’s role in our spiritual lives and her significance in our path to holiness. Together\, we will prepare to make or renew our consecration to Mary using the booklet Preparation for the Total Consecration to the Immaculate according to St. Maximilian Kolbe\, which will guide us in offering ourselves fully to our Blessed Mother before Palm Sunday. DESCRIPTION:Adoration and Benediction is traditionally held on the first Thursday of the month\, however\, since the first Thursday in July coincides with the Fourth of July\, a Civic Holiday\, we have decided to reschedule this devotional to Wednesday evening for the month of July. This adjustment ensures that everyone can participate in both the devotional and holiday celebrations. \nWe encourage everyone to attend Eucharistic Adoration\, as it offers a unique opportunity to deepen one’s spiritual connection with Christ\, find peace in His presence\, and receive the strength and grace needed to navigate life’s challenges.

DESCRIPTION:The Complete Introduction to the Devout Life by St. Francis De Sales\nWritten over 400 years ago\, this book remains one of the most popular for laity responding to the Second Vatican Council’s universal call to holiness. Written as letters of spiritual direction to Philothea (i.e. lover of God)\, they are remarkably timeless in their practical application for all Christians today. Join us on Thursday nights beginning on November 30th at Precious Blood Church. All parishioners of all the churches are welcome. Led by Curtis Kneblik\, Director of Adult Faith Formation for (Precious Blood\, St. Rita\, St. Paul)\, the sessions will consist of short presentations with most of the time devoted to reading and group discussion.
