Volunteers pick up trash until 10:00 am. Trash bags and grabbers will be provided for collecting litter\, and we also focus on recycling cans\, bottles\, and plastic. \nPulchra Terra (Beautiful Earth) Program \nPulchra Terra\, meaning “Beautiful Earth\,” is a community service program at our Catholic Church dedicated to promoting stewardship of the land and our surroundings. This initiative gets us out into our neighborhoods\, focusing on planting flowers such as hostas and lamb’s ears\, picking up trash\, and recycling. \n  \n

Written as letters of spiritual direction to Philothea (i.e. lover of God)\, they are remarkably timeless in their practical application for all Christians today. Join us on Thursday nights beginning on November 30th at Precious Blood Church. All parishioners of all the churches are welcome. Led by Curtis Kneblik\, Director of Adult Faith Formation for (Precious Blood\, St. Rita\, St. Paul)\, the sessions will consist of short presentations with most of the time devoted to reading and group discussion. Each evening will begin with the Rosary\, followed by a presentation from Curtis Kneblik on the Blessed Mother’s role in our spiritual lives and her significance in our path to holiness. Together\, we will prepare to make or renew our consecration to Mary using the booklet Preparation for the Total Consecration to the Immaculate according to St. Maximilian Kolbe\, which will guide us in offering ourselves fully to our Blessed Mother before Palm Sunday.
